I would like to suggest a book I find to be helpful; Great Garden Companions by Sally Jean Cunningham. I live in a community outside of Baltimore, MD and I have found that in my relatively small backyard, raised beds and companion gardening has made my small space pretty bountiful. As with anything, I use what I read as a guide, but it is my observations in my garden that I take notes on and use as my source of information from year to year. There is something to be said about companion gardening, I keep needing to buy more canning jars!
